OK, so it completely has nothing to do with real estate, but I just had to share my displeasure with people who pass themselves off as feminists nowadays. First the Quebec Council for the Status of Women at the reasonable accommodation hearings, and now this.
This was the first time I was felt prompted to write to The Gazette. This idea by some legal types that current name-change prohibitions in Quebec were for women’s greater good. Pffft. Please. Rights are much nicer, thanks.

Wait…women don’t take the man’s name after marriage? What kind of backwards society is this? I’m emigrating to some proper patriarchal society where I can have me 7 wives and name them all Lisa. First and last name. They will all be named Lisa Lisa. Then the world will be a just place
